You should clean out your whole tank if you're taking this out anyways.

One way you can remove most of the fuel is, of course, driving it around. When my yellow triangle of warning comes on, that means I have 4 gallons. You can also remove your fuel by using a wet-dry vac and (take out vac's filter) and use some tubing. Stick it down into your tank and use your hands to help create a seal and there you go.

Then jack up the back end and disconnect the two fuel lines and strainer and it should come right out. Here you can take it out and be good.
